He's one of the few surviving Japanese people.
He can be hot-blooded, acting on his intuition rather than reason.
It's easy to recognize his actions as direct and lacking foresight, but he isn't an optimist---he simply isn't very careful.
Although he doesn't go out of his way to preach his sense of justice to others, he openly shows his distaste for anything he considers warped or unfair.
It may seem at times as if he's making fun of others, but he means it amicably.

A descendant of pure Japanese ancestry, he concealed his identity to escape from the mundane life within the Japanese Colony that he was subjected to. He occasionally travels with Baiken, who lived in the same Colony as him previously, and wields Zessen, one of the sacred treasures, as his weapon of choice.

Out of intellectual curiosity, he set out on a journey to search for "That Man," uncovering many truths.
Upon learning that the true identity of "That Man" who started the Crusades is Chaos, he assisted the various nations from behind the scenes to stop his plans from coming to fruition.
